This book presents both an old and new direction in the artistic study of an amazing phenomenon; the image on the Turin Shroud. Reproduced in gorgeous full color, each painting is shown in it’s entirety. In the adjacent pages, excerpts from the New Testament accompany the beautiful paintings the artist has created. Basset has clarified a portion of the Shroud image: the area of the face and if he has indeed figured out what the creator of the image intended, it is exciting. If the Shroud is indeed authentic, as Basset believes, then that creator is God Himself.
